The great commission

The great commission: Misunderstood, misapplied, missing the power.

Matthew 28:16-20

The Great Commission

16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 [a]Go therefore andmake disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you[b]always, even to the end of the age.”

37 and then as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers.

Command: Make (a process with several parts) disciples of all nations.
Disciples: accepts the teaching (Jesus is the only and savior) follows the Lord and Savior.

Teaching them to obey that I have commanded:
1. Disciplined to study the word
2. Disciplining to obedience
3. 'Discipling' others

Steps of being 'discipled' (Three parts of discipleship)
1.Conversion
2. Ceremonial Baptism
3. Lifelong study of the Word

Sanctifying grace does not save you it makes salvation possible for you.

Sin removes sanctifying grace. Nababalik ng confirmation then you sin again you lose sanctifying grace communion and confession. Purgahan ng kasalanan purgatory. Saint only when they see the light and enter heaven."
