How does god help us win our personal/spiritual battles

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For ourstruggle is not against [a]flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of thisdarkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 [b]in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all theflaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 [c]With all prayer and petition [d]pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, [e]be on the alert with allperseverance and petition for all the saints,

The believers strength is found and grounded in the relationship with the Lord. V10
Strengthen yourself within through the Lord

1. He provides us strength through his personal presence.

2. He provides us with spiritual armor for our personal protection.

Helmet of salvation(metal)
Mind is very vulnerable.

Breastplate of righteousness(metal)
Protects the heart. Righteous and holy living. Become ineffective and weak.

Belt of truth
Holds/connects everything. Live by the truth.

Shield faith
Head to foot. Protection from doubt discouragement etc. attacks of the enemy.
Just obey and trust he may be working from the other end

Sandals of peace
Promote peace and not conflict harmony and not problems. How you handle people. Especially those harder to love.

Sword of the Spirit.
The only offensive weapon.

3. He provides us with prayerful people for our personal progress. v18
No one will help you if you do not surround yourself with people who will support you.
Other people will act as shield around you by praying for you.
Our victory(We must be progressive by being part of an army.)
