The command : offer yourself as a pving sacrifice to god

Gods provision sanctification - cleansing power 6-8

Therefore because of gods mercy

The character of the commitment
Commitment is total amd reasonable
To offer your bodies as living sacrifices..
You were captive of sin! You were a slave to thr world system
Jesus redeemed you out of the slavearket of sin

And so when we think of commitment we fear
What are we going to lose! What we are going to give up! How much we are going to serve! What we are going to have to change!
Reasonable commitment
Holy and pleasing to god -this is your spiritual act of worship
All of life is sacred when we commit our life to God
All we do is an act of worship

The demands of commitment

It offers fame and popularity!
It offer power, riches, sex!
Positive command
Dont be conformed passively by the world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind
How to act flows from how you think

Stop allowing yourselves to be molded by the influences and pressures of this present world we live in
Stop allowing satan and his demons to dupe you, con you use you trick you promise you life and love and power tha t will

Effects of commitment
Then you will be able to test and approve what gods will is his good pleasin and perfect will
Knowing the will of god and knowing the mind of god, comes from knowing the word of god, which renews and cleanses your mind!
Get deeper in the word of god
Nurture alife of prayer and fasting
Br an activr member of your church/fellowship
God knows what is best for you
Gods plan for your life is best for you
So in light of all god has done for you how are you goin to respond?

H doesnt want you to earn his affection
What god wants is yoh all of you
