Talk about their own lives. People today. They don't listen. There is something you can do for them. Selfish and takes the joy from your life.
2. They want you because of the personal profit. V3.
Oil for jesus' feet. Judas! Is:man cariot:village important man. Was with jesus for personal profit.
Kindness fatigue. Pakain ng pakain di masharan ng bible.
3. They want you because you represent God. Ladies were fathful. Jeses represeted the father. They love you because you love God as well.
Principle: in your most difficult moment choose the people you'ill trust. Jesus chose only 3 people when praying in gethsemane.

A life without pain?

A life without pain is difficult
Loss of pain and sensation jn the limbs leprosy
No pain to remind them if what they've lost
James 1:1-12 0 pain reminds us that something is wrong
Trials=pain
3 principles that can help us understand our trials
1. We must be able to affirm "i cannot avoid trials"
"Consider it all joy"
You do not chose your road ahead
Your trials are not if your own making!!! But you are carrying the burden.
I must face this!
2. I can avoid defeat by having the right attitude
Start by complaining! To feel defeated
Slap in the right cheek greatest form of insult!
God is in control, this trials are not of my own making but god has a purpose for this.
Knowingthat the testin o faith produces endurance
Trust your God will do something good about it.
Do no deny the love of God to you!
3. I can learn and benefit from my trials
Beneficial to the people if God.
You will be (perfect) - suitable for whatever it is your are facing in life.
Complete - describes animal for God. Complete offerring
lacking in nothing - Now fully qualified to be serving God, qualified to serve the.community
GRATITUDE = 0 complaint

Waiting on the lord
Surrenderin out situatuon
Trusting him completely
Fully expecting that he will deliver us from difficult situation
Waiting: 3 components
V27 they were complaining. ' Acknowledging their inability'
#1 complete surrender flof our situation to God. Gve i up
#2 complete trust in God's ability to help us give it all
V28
#3 complete expectancy snd hope in God's willingness to help us. Go on
God is able and willing; expectant heart
Expectation gives birth to hope
28-29
Rom 5:3-5
Our strength is renewed 40:31
3 kinds of strentgh that god gives to those who wait.

1. Faith heb 11:8
2. Hope titus 2:12-13
3. Love 1 john 5:3
4. Salvation eph 2:8-10
What keeps us from obeying god
1. The world rom 12:2
We must not conform to the pattern of this world
We must fox our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen." 2 cor 4:18
We must set our minds on things above not earthly things. Col 3:2
2. The flesh
Live by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature Gal 5:16 DENY YOURSELF
to live by the spirit
-we shoukd be "controlled by the spirit"
- we need to putto death the desires of the flesh
- We need to die for self
3. The devil
john 10:10, 2 cor 10:5,
Whenever we give in to the world or the flesh, whejever we focus on ourselves rsther than on god, we invite the devil to attack us
*We need to be alert to his schemes*
*we need to submitnourselves to god*
*We should resist the devil*
True disciples submits to and obeys god
1. Authentic disciple confesses jesus hrist as lord 1 John 4:15
2. True disciple,nare unhappy or miserabke when they sin 1 john 3:9
3. Authentic diciple enjoy fellowship with other believers 1 john 5:1 (heb 10:25)
4. A christian loves and obeys the word of god 1 john 2:5
What is involved in ibeying god is expressed in romans 12:1-2
God's mercy: primary movtive for our obedience
Sacrficies: complete and without reservation, total surrender
Worship: form of obedience vice versa
Do not conform. Seek to please him only and to di only what he would have us do.
Be transformed: to live by the spirit; in god's likeness
God's will: goal is to seek and do god's pleasing snd perfect will.

3 things faithfulness of god
1. The Lord does not allow you to carry your burden alone
Old to new testsment
God fights for you. Because you are unable to fight your wars.
We do have problems time to time. But we will not be abandoned by God.
2. The Lord does not let his promises fail.
V14he fulfills because he is God.
I will bless you so you can become a blessing
3. The Lord does not let his people become victimized because of lack of knowledge, he forewarns his people.
Thr path of life is the path if obedience.
Be careful about spiritual impurities. Social impurities.
Obedience > fruitfulness

If you are reacting to anything agaisnt you, you are not humble.
Not concerned about defeating others. - child

2. Kingdom greatness is demonstrated by relational purity.
If u cause him to stumble then that is relational impurity
Walang balak magkamali ang katawan.
Purity kahit masaktan ka gagawin mo in favor of holiness
"Childlike purity"
3. Kingdom greatness is demonstrated by personal purity carried out through discipline spirituality
When u are provoked there is an opportunity to be great.
"Childlike amity"
Pinangagalingan ang children ng peace and harmony
Childlike humility - maging katulad sa bata that doesn't compete.
